Vi(Vodafone Idea) Planning to shut 3G Services in Delhi from 15 Jan

Vi (Vodafone Idea) is shutting down its 3G services in Delhi from January 15. As a result of the new change, the operator has started asking its customers in the Delhi circle to upgrade their existing SIM to 4G. The move is a part of Vi’s ongoing spectrum re-farming under which the operator is using its 3G spectrum for 4G services. It was already put in place in Bengaluru and Mumbai earlier this month. Vi customers in the capital city need to upgrade their existing SIM to 4G by visiting their nearby stores. To inform customers about the switch, Gadgets 360 has learnt that Vi has started sending out an SMS message to its customers in the Delhi circle. The message asks users to upgrade their SIM to 4G before January 15 to receive uninterrupted service on their phones.

Vi (Vodafone Idea) is asking users to upgrade their SIM to 4G It is important to point out that while Vi will continue to provide voice calling via 2G to customers who won’t be able to upgrade their SIM to 4G, data services will no longer be accessible on old SIM connections. The change will also not impact users who are already using a Vi 4G SIM.

Samsung Galaxy A32 5G Gets Bluetooth SIG Certification, Can Launch Soon

Samsung Galaxy A32 5G has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG website after showing up on several other certification sites. This suggests that the launch of the phone could be near. However, Samsung has still not shared any details about the rumoured phone. The Bluetooth SIG listing doesn’t share any specifications of the Galaxy A32 5G, except that it will come with Bluetooth 5.0 support. But previous leaks suggest that the phone could come with a quad rear camera setup and 15W fast charging support.

Tipster Mukul Sharma fist spotted the Bluetooth SIG listing for the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, which shows that the phone will come with Bluetooth 5.0. The listing shows three model numbers — SM-A326B_DS, SM-A326B, and SM-A326BR_DS — and all of them have the product name Galaxy A32 5G. Besides this, the listing does not give away anything else about the phone.
Earlier this month, the rumoured Galaxy A32 5G was spotted in US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and HTML5 test listings that showed that the phone will come with NFC and 15W fast charging support, and run on Android 11 out of the box.

Nokia PureBook X14 Laptop With Intel Core i5 Processor Teased on Flipkart: Specifications

Nokia PureBook X14 will soon launch as the first Nokia laptop in the PureBook series in India, an updated microsite on Flipkart suggests. The online marketplace has teased the new Nokia laptop with an image and some specifications. The microsite has appeared after Flipkart last week suggested that Nokia PureBook series will be launching in India. A listing on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website had also indicated the launch of multiple Nokia laptops in the country.

The updated microsite on Flipkart features the image of the Nokia PureBook X14 that appears to come in a black colour option. The image also shows that the notebook features a full-size, chiclet-style keyboard and a large touchpad with multi-touch.

Nokia PureBook X14 specifications
The microsite shows that at least one variant of the Nokia PureBook X14 will be powered by an Intel Core i5 processor, and include Dolby Atmos as well as Dolby Vision technologies. The laptop is also touted to offer an “ultralight” build that weighs 1.1 kilograms. USB 3.0 and HDMI ports are also clearly visible in the image of the Nokia laptop.

Flipkart has not yet provided any details on the availability of the Nokia PureBook X14. However, the microsite does carry a “coming soon” tag to reiterate the imminent launch of the laptop as also suggested earlier this week.

Full details about the Nokia PureBook X14 launch and its price in India are yet to be revealed. Nevertheless, as many as nine laptop models carrying the Nokia branding surfaced on the BIS site recently. Five of these models are speculated to have Intel Core i5 processors, while four of them could include Intel Core i3 chips. These are likely to be Intel 10th-generation processors.
